Women's Winter Boots, and Two of the Warmest, and Most Stylish Apres-Ski/Snow Boots

Winter apres-ski snow boots for women - stylish and warm. Merell and Sorel

Stay Warm and Cosy This Winter! Two Excellent Pairs of Reccommended Women's Winter Boots for Snow, Apres Ski, and Style of Course...

Although I'm relieved to see that this year, UGG have finally realised that slippers are not correct attire for the snowy and rainy outdoors - especially ski holidays - and have brought out some (still over-priced) sturdier options this year, I am still much more partial to the expert makers of winter and apres-ski footwear. Here is a review of two brands of fantastic winter apres-ski boots - Merrell and Sorel, and some winter boot anecdotes to brighten that wintry, blustery day!

Joan of Arctic - Women's Winter boots by Sorel

Joan of Arctic - warmest most stylish winter boots - furry snow bootsThese apres-ski boots are so amazing! Funky and stylish fur, contrasting stitching, and d-ring lace-ups adds touches of feminity to a pair of sturdy, reliable and serious winter boots. When I first got these boots I couldn't believe how invincible they are! The cold never gets in, neither does the damp. These boots make puddles and snow fun again! I wore them all the time on my ski holidays in France, Scandinavia and Switzerland last year and they still look like new!

There are many other Sorel winter boot designs also - some more stylish than others, and some more 'functional'. Sorel do Men's and women's apres-ski/winter boots. They are an excellent, quality brand, excellent for extremely cold temperatures.

Apres-Ski Women's Snow Boots by Merrell

Merrell Spirit Tibet - warm, comfortable and stylish winter boots
The perfect balance between comfort and style! Merrell have a range of cute and cuddly but robust winter apres-ski snow boots. These particular boots are called Sprit Tibet. They have a Thinsulate inner and suede upper. They also have a funky snowflake print on the bottom which serves as excellent grip on the ice. I have worn these to so many ski resorts and they have stayed in such good condition. They are also pretty light so wearing them on the way to your ski holiday (e.g. on the flight) to save packing room is entirely feasible.

The 'Oslo' - also by Merrell are an excellent design. Slightly more expensive and slightly more hardy, these boots have a thicker wooly trim at the top but are a very similar shape.

"Even lying down I need these winter boots on. They are fantastic afterall!"

"Furry snow boots, check. Warm jacket, check. Snowy ski resort, check. Baseball cap - check!?"

"Do you have any other sizes? No, actually, these are fine - don't I look CUTE!."
